We are glad to announce that the paper “Integral Line-of-Sight Guidance and Control of Underactuated Marine Vehicles: Theory, Simulations, and Experiments”, IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, Vol. 24, No. 5, pages 1623-1642, September 2016, authored by Walter Caharija, Kristin Pettersen, Marco Bibuli, Pedro Calado, Enrica Zereik, José Braga, Jan Tommy Gravdahl, Asgeir J. Sørensen, Milan Milovanovic ́, and Gabriele Bruzzone, was selected as the winner for the 2017 IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology Outstanding Paper Award.
José Braga and Pedro Calado are former LSTS collaborators and this paper was written while they were working with us.
The award ceremony took place at the 2017 IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) in Melbourne, Australia, last Wednesday evening, December 13, 2017.
